P Jones’ foursome had a lead of 10-2 after five ends and was sufficient to put Mahgerafelt in the lead despite the other two rinks trailing but two successive counts of four for A Reid brought Ballointoy level in this game but gave them an overall lead which they were able to maintain over the closing ends.
