Synopsis:
Cranagill qualified unbeaten. Conlig were outsiders going into the final games and were relying on St Joseph's beating Cranagill and would have to beat Rosslea by at least 20 shots. In effect the group was decided in the Cranagill v St Joseph's game. Cranagill had to win or draw to go thru as they only had a two shot advantage over St Joseph's.
Cranagill won the decider by one shot which must have been a disappointment for the rinks skipped by Bradshaw and McGrade from St Joseph's who won all three games as did P McKenna from Rosslea.

Cranagill 26 v 17 Conlig
Two convincing wins, one for a rink on each side left the third match-up to be the decisive score and determine who would pick up the points for the win. Across the three mats Conlig had a lead of three shots after three ends with P Campbell and L Eager ahead. The Cranagill rink skipped by Terry Mulholland then won four of the next five ends including two trebles to secure the overall victory.
