Alan Paul completed the clean sweep by defeating the representatives from the Isle of Man, Scotland and Wales finishing with a positive shot difference of forty four shots. The champion of Scotland gave Alan his closest game but still trailed him by six shots. Alan was in excellent form and wrapped up the title on the first day as England who were due to be the fifth participant controversially withdrew prior to the competition.
