How did you get the nickname:  
I received Dober when I started bowling because I had the same name as an Irish selector John Henry and his nickname was doberman.  
Jezza
 is what they call me at my club in Australia.

Which formats have you played and which do you still play:  
I have played all formats but only play shortmat at Christmas in PTIBC tournament for a bit of fun but prefer the other formats (best I ever done was to win christmas pairs beating the 2 McHughs in final and last 8 of singles losing to Alan Leonard on tie end)

Which format do you prefer to play: 
I prefer the outdoor game although the greens leave a lot to be desired at times

James McClure my best mate Ian McClure's father
 

Who has been the biggest influence on your bowling career: My Parents

Most memorable moment [in bowls or in life]: 
Carrying the Northern Ireland Flag at Commonwealth Games in 2002 and winning First World Title Pairs with Sammy Allen 

If you could change one policy/rule what would it be: Giving away the jack it has ruined the game its too much of an advantage  

What do you regard as your best or most satisfying achievement in bowls:
Winning the 2000 World Singles in South Africa on my Mums Birthday and winning the World Indoor pairs with Ian McClure  

What goal do you have in bowls:  
To win World Indoor Singles  

At what age did you make your international debut : Indoor 18 : outdoor 20

What year: Indoor 1992 (41 Caps)  and Outdoor 1994 (52 Caps)

Players who have not got a clue about weight and call for wicks 

Would you be in favour of players forming their own think-tank and having a place on the management committee of each outdoor association including the IBA: Yes 

Do you think respected past and current internationals should be invited to have an input with the u25s:  
Yes. I also think that international selectors should have represented Ireland before they can become a selector
